How to edit a funscript online
Use FunGen Online Studio to make quick funscript edits in your browser. Open a local script, inspect its movement and save a new copy. You do not need an account or a desktop installation.
1. Open the script and optional video
Choose File, then Open scripts, or drop a .funscript file into Studio. CSV files with timestamps in milliseconds and positions from 0 to 100 also work. Add your local video or audio through File to check synchronization. Without media, the script can play against its own clock.
Use File, Open example if you want to try the tools first. The example contains a neutral animated dot and matching motion. Your own video and script stay in the browser.
2. Visualize the funscript
The timeline plots position against time. Colors indicate the speed requested between points. The heatmap above it summarizes the whole file. Click a passage, zoom in, and use Play to compare the curve with the video. A high position means a different target position, not necessarily faster motion.
3. Make a small edit
Drag a point horizontally to adjust timing or vertically to adjust position. Shift-drag selects a passage. The Feel slider changes amplitude; Halve reduces the number of strokes; Invert reverses positions. Preview changes and inspect both ends of a selection before applying them.
Use More tools for smoothing, speed limiting, timing shifts and modifier chains. Halving a funscript preserves the passage duration and differs from slowing video playback.
4. Check synchronization and repair findings
A constant mismatch may need a sync offset. If only one section is wrong, edit that passage instead. Loop a selection to compare several attempts. Script Doctor flags invalid values, duplicate timestamps, tight timing, fast motion and long gaps. Inspect each finding because pauses and short movements can be intentional.
5. Download the edited funscript
Save a new .funscript copy, then reopen it to check the edited passage. CSV carries motion points rather than complete metadata. Save a Studio workspace when you want to keep several script documents together; keep the original video separately.
Online editor or desktop app?
Studio supports up to 20 scripts, with 8 MB and 100,000 points per script. Browser media support depends on the codec. Use FunGen desktop for larger projects, combined multi-axis files, AI video generation and the full contextual Doctor. See the desktop editing guide for that workflow.
Are my files uploaded?
Editing, visualization and video preview run locally. Device connections are a separate optional action. See Privacy for the data handled by the site.
