Halve a funscript online
A funscript halver reduces how often the script changes direction while keeping the passage duration. Use it when a script feels too busy but you want to keep its depth and video timing.
Open Studio and halve a script
Halve strokes, reduce depth or slow playback?
| Control | Changes | Useful when |
|---|---|---|
| Halve | Fewer strokes over the same passage | The rhythm feels too busy |
| Feel / amplitude | The distance between positions | The depth feels too large |
| Playback rate | The pace of the video and script preview | You want to review slowly |
| Limit speed | Depth where segments exceed your chosen speed | A passage requests too much speed |
Try one passage first
- Open a .funscript file in Studio. Add its local video if available.
- Shift-drag over the passage you want to change. With no passage selected, the operation uses the whole script.
- Choose Halve and compare the original and proposed curves.
- Apply the preview, loop the passage and check its beginning, pauses and ending.
- Save a new copy. Undo remains available if the result does not suit you.
What does a halver change?
Consider four alternating movements across four seconds. A halver can reduce them to two broader movements over those same four seconds. It does not simply delete every other point, which could leave a flat line. FunGen uses turning points to retain meaningful depth as it reduces the rhythm.
Preserve pauses and choose a phase
More tools exposes the halver settings. Keep pauses protects rest passages; the threshold helps separate motion groups. The phase option changes which alternating extreme starts the result. Multiple passes reduce the rhythm further. Use a single pass first and preview before applying.
Irregular depth, plateaus, odd numbers of turns and selected boundaries can produce different results from other halvers. FunGen uses its own algorithm; it does not promise identical FunHalver output for every script. Inspect the proposed curve instead of assuming a setting is interchangeable.
Can I halve only part of a funscript?
Yes. Select a time range before applying Halve. Compare the transition into and out of it so the change does not introduce an abrupt movement.
Can I double or invert a script too?
Studio includes Double and Invert alongside Halve. Doubling increases requested movement speed, so review the result with Script Doctor and your device's capabilities. Invert changes positions without reversing time.
